James Blunt

I'm sure I'm the last one to this party - as usual. It's never stopped me before so I shall not let it stop me now.

I'll admit. I've been sucked in. I'm a fan. I even downloaded his album. I'd heard "Beautiful" on the radio - has anyone NOT heard that song? And I *gasp* enjoyed it immensely. And then I caught the last 10 minutes of Oprah's show last week. (Damn that Oprah, she sucks me in.) James was on and sang "Goodbye my Lover". I SWEAR TO GOD he had tears in his eyes. Then afterwards he had to make me weep by joking that he didn't really care about the woman it was written about. And now? I'm in love. Sort of.

I think he may be my new celebrity boyfriend. Although? In real life? I'm not sure I could handle a guy that sensitive. I have this weird thing where I want to be the more sensitive in the relationship. And guys who cry more than I do? Well, I'll be kind and just say, not my type. But as a pretend celebrity boyfriend? Perfect.

You're preachin' to the choir Babe! You & I are on the same page. After the Oprah show aired at 4:00pm, I found out James Blunt was performing & I was so angry. Thankfully, my landlord told me how to work the DVR & I taped the Oprah show repeat at 2:00am. I stayed up that night & watched the entire show, even though I had it taping. The next day, I watched the show again, fast forwarding to the end to see James Blunt sing 2 songs. And yes, you're right, James had tears in his eyes, but I did too & so did Oprah.......obviously, we're in good company.

I LIKE your new celebrity boyfriend! Would you two be interested in double dating with me and Vin? He's not so musically talented, I don't THINK he is anyway. Never thought to ask.

I currently enraptured with his song Beautiful... the Boys yell if I play it more than three times in a row.

I, too like that song "beautiful" and that's not normally my genre of music but there's just something so sweet about that song.I saw oprah too, and the second song he sang made my eyes well up with tears! For no reason, either!! And he acts so humble, too. did you notice that?
