Question for you - no, YOU.

Question: Have any of you ever written a successful romance book, story, etc? Did it sound good in your head but horrifically cheesy while you were writing it? Or is that just me.

Must note: I'm not attempting to write a romance thing. It just sort of popped into my head and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down. Now I must decide whether I should "lose" it or not.

Don't lose it -
I've never been successful at finishing - but some day the ideas are going to come in handy when the kiddo's have left the nest.

I've been noodling around the idea of writing an autobiographical romance novel - with embellishments, of course!

I try to keep a stack of post-its and my laptop nearby to capture those fleeting ideas before they float permanently away from my porous head.

I don't always succeed.

I love to read romance novels - they're my escape from reality.

But I"ve never, ever tried to write one. I wonder why?

I've had several ideas, but they've never gone from my head to paper.
